Hello, is it possible to add mute/solo tracks 1-6 to the MIDI actions? I want to choose certain tracks to be muted or soled using a multipedal footswitch with the io dock...
THANKS!

Hi doubletap,

Sure, I still have to extend the list of supported MIDI actions.

Happy Holidays !

Hello
I want to buy Behringers new iStudio when it comes out next month. My sole purpose in buying this is so I can use a footswitch to mute/solo tracks in everday looper. Please if you can let me know when support for these features will be added.
Thank you

Hi again doubletap !

Unfortunately I can't tell you when I'll add mute/solo to the MIDI actions, mostly because I don't know it myself ;). Sorry to not be more helpful ...

Hi Raphael,

first of all, thank for having created such a nice app.
Quick question : I use EL on my Ipad through the alesis i/o dock. My drum machine
is synced with EL using the i/o dock's midi input.
It does mean that I can't benefit from EL's other 5 midi actions such as record, etc
i am not a specialist in midi but on a single midi input, can we send 2 sort of information, ie
clock in AND midi actions ?
if yes, could i solve my problem in connecting my drum machine to my effect floorboard (it handles midi messages) then to EL ?
thank your for your help
samuel

ps yes could be solved through using midi thru functionnalities

Hi Samuel !

You can send all the infos you like on a single midi input. What matters is that each midi message is handled only by the midi devices that need it, if more than 2 are connected. You can consider using midi channels if you want to "organize" all of this more nicely.

And you are right, if you want to connect the drum machine to your effect floorboard and to the iO Dock, you can connect them in serie using midi thru.

One thing to note, you mentioned clock messages, but EL does not handle them.

Cheers !
