Post subject:  issue with wifi transfer to logic 9

Raphael,
1-when i drag the wav files from an EDL wifi transfer to the desktop of my big mac(xeon intel) they appear on the big mac desktop with an extension" webloc" (eg track 3.wav.webloc)
when I try to import the "track 3.wav.webloc" file into logic 9 it is greyed out and unavailable for import, while the other standard wav files without that "webloc" extension that were there from previous logic sessions are dark and available for import. How to solve this?

2-How do I delete EDL files from my ipad ? (i already understand the 2 finger swipe to erase.I mean making sure everything is off the ipad memory so it does not clog things up)
3-Is there any way to use a high quality mic and pre (neuman/neve for example, to get past the limitations of the ipad mic (although it is quick and easy)I am aware of irig etc, but I mean studio quality input or is this a limitation of the ipad format? If it can be done this would mean i would not have to re-record the passes after the wi-fi transfer into logic and maybe could use the original EDL files for the final record as is ,thereby retaining the live spontaneous feel.

-By the way this is a beautiful app.I love this thing-just what I have been looking for. Brilliant! Great job on this one.
The above is the only problem i am running into at the moment.
Let me know how to solve this
Best

Hi Jambro :) !

1) I suppose the .webloc extension is here because of the drag and drop. You should download the files on your hard drive and then import them for here into Logic. You can do the first part by right clicking on a colored rectangle and choosing something like "Save the file as ...".

2) When you delete a track with the 2 fingers swipe, there is nothing left on the flash drive. Except if you have saved your loop of course. If you are talking about RAM, the OS will manage it itself, so you don't have to worry about it.

3) Yes, there is a way ^^ ! Check the section "Camera Connection Kit" of this post. Thanks for recalling me to update it :D.

4) Thanks for your kind words !

Happy looping,

Raphaël
