Just wanted to swing by and say I really love the Everyday Looper!

I am a solo bassist based in Singapore and have been using the RC-50 to do my looping in live situations. Whilst I get to trigger the loops with just my foot on the RC-50 pedals, I found it heavy and bulky to lug around along with the rest of my rig.

Discovering the Everyday Looper was somewhat a liberation for me, as I can now bring my looper with me on my iPhone :)

Its intuitive interface was so fun and easy to use, I began composing a new song almost immediately and even played on it during a bass workshop I was holding for Yamaha as one of its bass endorsee. I'll be uploading a video of the workshop but meanwhile I thought I'd share a video I did looping my bass on the Everyday Looper at home about a week back :)

Hello Wendy !

Thanks a lot for our kind words :). It always makes my day when I see musicians enjoying Everyday Looper.

Really nice song that you've laid down on the looper, can't wait to see the workshop one too !

BTW, do you use a cable for plugging your bass in the iPhone, or do you just record your amp with the onboard mic ?

Cheers,

Raphaël

Hi Raphaël,

Sorry it took this long to reply, as I've been swamped with things to do!

I'm using a Belkin AV cable to plug my bass directly into the iPhone. It took a painstakingly long while for me to figure this out, as there is not very much information online regarding this sort of connection. I initially tried a few standard AV cables with grounding that is supposed to have been on the 2nd ring, but did not manage to get the iPhone to recognize any input. Thankfully I came across a website suggesting the Belkin cable, and it solved my problem immediately.

Thanks again for creating such a great intuitive app on the iPhone!

Best,

Wendy
